Machine Gun Kelly has apologised to fans after suffering a meltdown during a concert on Friday, October 25.

The star was performing at Credit Union 1 Pavilion in Chicago, Illinois, when an equipment malfunction sent him over the edge, as the rapper appeared to shove a stagehand at least twice.

In footage obtained by TMZ, the star’s guitar appeared to cut out as he prepared to play his hit “Hollywood W**re”, prompting him to rush to the back of the stage to confront a stagehand.

The worker was in the process of bringing a microphone to the front of the stage when Kelly, real name Colson Baker, pushed him. The star then rushed to the other side of the stage with the stagehand following close behind, as Kelly turned and shouted at him, before aggressively thrusting the guitar into his hands.

Once the song was over, the musician rushed over to where the stagehand was positioned and followed him backstage, as fans shown in the clip commented on what they had observed.

Shortly after the gig, the hitmaker took to Twitter to explain the incident to fans, writing: “Tonight the frustrations from my personal life came out on stage.”

Machine Gun Kelly explained the incident to his fans.

He then vowed to “get help after (the) tour is over”, adding: “Sorry to my fans and my band.”
